Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Trujillo to begin this fascinating journey through the ancient cultures of northern Peru.

Morning – Huacas del Sol y la Luna Complex

The tour begins with a visit to the impressive Huaca de la Luna archaeological complex, one of the most important ceremonial centers of the Moche civilization. During the guided visit, you will admire its remarkable polychrome reliefs and learn about the rituals and beliefs of this ancient culture.

Midday – Huanchaco Village

After the visit, we continue to the traditional fishing village of Huanchaco. This charming coastal town is famous for its historic reed boats known as caballitos de totora, still used by local fishermen today.
Here you will have free time to enjoy lunch at a seaside restaurant and relax while overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Afternoon – Chan Chan Archaeological Site

In the afternoon, the tour continues to Chan Chan, the largest adobe city in the Americas and the former capital of the Chimú Kingdom. You will explore the Nik An Palace, the best-preserved sector of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, where impressive relief walls and ceremonial courtyards reveal the grandeur of this ancient civilization. Return to Trujillo

After the visit, we return to the city of Trujillo and drop you off at your hotel.
