08:30 AM – Hotel Pickup in Trujillo

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel to begin this fascinating full-day tour exploring the history and culture of northern Peru.

The tour starts with a visit to the impressive Huacas del Sol y la Luna archaeological complex. First, you will explore the modern site museum, where remarkable discoveries help explain the history, religion, and daily life of the Moche civilization. Afterwards, continue to the ceremonial temple of Huaca de la Luna, famous for its well-preserved polychrome murals and sacred plazas that reveal the rituals of this ancient culture. After the visit, you will return to the city of Trujillo, where you will have free time to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and taste traditional Peruvian cuisine.

02:30 PM – Peruvian Paso Horse & Marinera Show

In the afternoon, attend a traditional Peruvian Paso Horse show, where you will admire the elegance and smooth gait of these world-famous horses. The experience is accompanied by a vibrant Marinera dance performance, one of Peru’s most iconic cultural traditions.

Following the show, the tour continues to Chan Chan, the largest adobe city in the Americas and the former capital of the Chimú Kingdom. Here you will explore the impressive Nik An Palace, where ceremonial plazas and intricate relief walls reveal the sophistication of this powerful pre-Inca civilization.
