Your first stop is Huaca de la Luna and its museum, one of the most important ceremonial temples of ancient Peru. we continue to the charming fishing village of Huanchaco. This historic coastal town is known for its beautiful beach and for the traditional reed boats called caballitos de totora, which local fishermen have used for centuries. Here you will have free time to enjoy lunch at a seaside restaurant and take in the relaxed atmosphere of the Pacific coast

Next, continue to Chan Chan, the largest adobe city in the Americas and former capital of the Chimú Kingdom. Explore its labyrinthine corridors, ceremonial plazas, and beautifully decorated walls adorned with marine motifs, reflecting the close relationship between this civilization and the ocean.

At the end of the afternoon we return to your hotel in Trujillo.

El Brujo Complex & Departure

After breakfast, travel north along the coast to visit the impressive El Brujo Archaeological Complex, one of the most significant sites of the northern coast.

Here, you will explore ancient pyramids, ceremonial areas, and the modern museum that houses one of Peru’s most important discoveries: the Lady of Cao, a powerful Moche ruler whose tattooed body revealed the prominent role of women in ancient societies.
